A complete lighting and electrical domestic installation. For this St Albans customer, Green Electrical were employed directly by the client to undertake a complete electrical and lighting installation. Our initial site meeting helped to identify the customers’ requirements and to plan for the upcoming project.
Our planning consists of a first fix, second fix, testing and commissioning however our holistic approach gives flexibility and allowed for concurrent alterations by the customer.
Our lighting concept for this property was to uniform all light sources with the same colour temperature of 3500 kelvins, whilst purposely placing down-lights in practical positions. Green Electrical used integrated low-profile anti-glare LED down-lights with a white bezel to match the white ceilings, therefore making the fittings non-intrusive. Throughout the property the lighting levels are consistent and creates a well-lit, light and spacious feel. Where suitable, all lights were place on dimmer switches and the stairs and landings where lit with three light sources - a chandelier, down-lights and wall lights. This added more flexibility for our client to create their lighting ambience depending on mood and time of day.
This project was completed on time, as specified and on budget.
